Lottery dreams can come true - even if you play online! Martyn and Sandra White from Luton are celebrating after scooping a massive £10,784,075 Lotto rollover jackpot from Wednesday 8th April’s draw. They learnt of their lucky lotto win online, but even then weren't convinced that their numbers 8, 10, 21, 23, 25 and 48 had banked them the jackpot.
Martyn explained to Camelot that "I saw there was an email from the National Lottery saying I was a winner but I assumed we had won a tenner again. I logged onto my account to check. It took me ages to spot the amount and even then I thought the email was wrong". Once the news had sunk in, Martyn and his family headed off for a holiday that they'd already had planned.
Martyn, a sales manager for a vehicle electronics company, hopes to take early retirement whilst Sandra plans to swap her pastoral role at her local school for that of interior designer once they have found their dream home.
The winning numbers were made up of the ages of the family (Martyn, Sandra, their three children and Martyn’s mother) and as a result changed every two months as each member of the family celebrated a new birthday.
